Many texts throughout both the Old and New Testaments speak of God’s creation of the heavens and the earth. Testimony to creation as recorded in Genesis 1:1–2:3 permeates all of Scripture. Denial of the biblical account of creation in Genesis 1:1–2:3 places in question all the teachings of Scripture about God, Christ, and everything connected with His creative work. What are the implications of biblical creationism to other key teachings of the Scriptures? One very key teachings involves the character and nature of the Creator Himself. In the session we will give attention to the relationships between the doctrine of first things (protology) and the doctrine of last things (eschatology).
