There will be two sessions on Saturday, February 21. The first is titled Big Problems with the Big Bang, it runs from 3:00 - 4:30 PM and there is a $30.00 admission fee to cover a meal. The second session is free to all, it runs from 7:00 - 8:30 PM and is titled The Ultimate Proof of Creation. Dr. Lisle graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University where he double-majored in physics and astronomy, and minored in mathematics. He did graduate work at the University of Colorado where he earned a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Astrophysics. While there, Dr. Lisle used the SOHO spacecraft to investigate motions on the surface of the sun as well as solar magnetism and subsurface weather. His thesis was entitled “Probing the Dynamics of Solar Supergranulation and its Interaction with Magnetism.” He has also authored a number of papers in both secular and creation literature. Book Table Our book table will be at the Symposium with one of the widest selections of creation literature available in the southland. There’s something for everyone from toddler to PhD, from skeptic to missionary. Books, videos, tapes, magazines... John Arend works very hard to make a wealth of material available to our members. Reading good material is just as important, if not more so, than hearing our lectures. Build your creation library at the Bible-Science Association. When faced with an incredibly complex natural mechanism, whether biological or physical, it is said those that believe in creation just wave their hands and say “God did it”; supposedly settling the matter in their minds and shutting down inquiry. Evolutionary ecologist Randy Olson, in his film "Flock of Dodos (http://www.flockofdodos.com/)", makes this charge. Dawkins looks stumped as he hems and haws. Sensing the awkwardness, he tells the videographer to turn off the camera. When the video resumes, so does his usual eloquence. But he doesn’t answer the question. The interview was apparently conducted in September, 1997.
